If you come to a country for a better life, your behaviour should benifit and not affect for the worse your neighbour. Be them black white Christian or other.

Does that only apply to those born abroad?
Shouldn't it be the obligation of all, irrespective of one's nationality or ethnicity?

There's already proper evidence that he was a Christian.
The mere fact of anyone professing to be a Christian, could jeopardise their safety and security in some regions, irrespective of the genuineness of the conviction. (Conviction in the sense of religious belief, not in the criminal conviction sense.)

On the basis that some asylum seekers are professing to be Christian, may endanger their safety and security if they are returned to their country of origin.

I believe what is most likely to have happened is that his family were contacted and they said they wanted an Islamic burial and arrangements were made. But I have no knowledge of the specific mechanisms used in these situations.

Going on from my previous comment, it's very possible that the safety and security of his family, in his country of origin, could be endangered if they (those who are capable of endangering others) were aware of a Christian burial.
On that basis, it's understandable that his family requested a Muslim ceremony, and that the Mosque were happy to oblige.

Have you tried looking for any official data to justify your opinion? Or is just the focus on foreign-born criminals in places, such as this forum, that reinforces your opinion?
