Un-vented certificate expiring

Hi all

Has anyone else had the letter from CITB or other body stating that they are changing the rules and the 'lifetime' un-vented card is now having an expiry date fixed to it

Mine now runs out 31/07/08.

So now it is another 5 year re-sit and even more cost. I think it is disgusting that they change the criteria for registration AFTER you have qualified

What do you all think?

I got mine today as well.

I got it on 3/5/05 and it now expires on 4/5/11

Its says its valid for 5 years but that works out at 6 years

I had to retake mine back in jan

the new one doesnt have an expiry date either

more money for Labour and the training centers

also the test question were exactly the same!!!!!!!!!!

It's not something we have had here in Scotland mate, so I suggest you all write to the CITB & tell them to stuff it where the sun doesn't shine.

Get your trade association on your side if you're a member. If you unite and put up a joint front they'll back off.

I'm sure if we were faced with this situation here in Scotland and Ulster, SNIPEF would get behind us. They fought tooth & nail with these c.nts at CORGY when they introduced GWN!!!
