Underground Soil Pipes

My neighbour has built an extension onto his house and has laid new soil pipes which are underground, (the pipes for this area were previously wall pipes). Is there any regulation in Scotland that states that soil pipes must be a certain distance from a neighbours boundary?

No minimum or maximum distances, but there are other considerations such as proximity of existing foundations.

The drainage should be inspected and approved as part of their building warrant conditions.
