I have a union monarch multi point door mechanism that I need to change. I have removed the handles, spindle and lock, but the mechanism is still held in by the multi point rods. I can see that they are attached via a small bar on the top and bottom of the mechanism. Can anyone tell me how they are connected to the bar and the best way to disconnect them?
TIA

Thank you for your reply. There doesn’t look like anything to unscrew, plus there is not enough space to unscrew anything. Just wondering if the plastic ends on the rods somehow unclip from the mechanism itself? I’ve attached some pictures.

Glenndavis - Have you ever successfully removed the gearbox or disconnected them from the multipoint rods? I'm encountering the same issue, as I need to replace the gearbox on my door with the same lock mechanism.
