Hi,

we are installing a megalflo type system in a new extension and we can have a cylinder with integrated expansion tank, like the Megaflo brand Sadia. We are going for megaflop cause the property is rather large now. I also think I need an indirect unvented cylinder, not direct.

I also understand that other makes don't have an integrated expansion tank and it's outside the cylinder. I heard that it's easier to repair if outside the cylinder. Do people thing that being outside the cylinder is better, and can you recommend any makes both for cylinder and expansion tank. Thanks in advance.

Not sure how to decipher your word salad but... Megaflo are overpriced schit.

We use Joule as a good balance of quality and price however so not base your expectation on wrb prices.

Ok, Joule is the cylinder? does it have an external expansion tank or internal. And how about the system boiler, we were recommended a Bosch for boiler and Main for cylinder. Thanks again.

Joule cylinder with external EV and has dual cyclone for rapid recovery (I think without looking it up).
Boiler - Intergas combi (yes! Combi. But set it up to work as a system boiler using parameters on panel) this is good as you don't use the combi facilties but it's cheaper than buying a system boiler and you get 10 year warranty.
There are many of us on here that recommend Intergas... We don't get paid for this promotion, we just really like their boilers as they are reliable, design simplicity, have very few working parts, a great hex and a long warranty.
