Is there any way you can block unwanted e-mails completely. You can add them to blocked senders lists but they still go into junk and some even still go to the inbox and you have to mark as junk again.

I assume you are talking about personal email, are you using an email client or just web mail? Maybe worth asking the provider if anti spam level can be adjusted.

Try using thunderbird mail its a free email client - it allows you to set filters based on content and sender etc. Some email providers allow mail server side rules, which can also work

what email client are you using? some offer better features than other, but in the end your will always get some spam through on any email client (gmail/outlook/hotmail etc)

There will never be a practical way of totally blocking unwanted email as the sender's email address can be spoofed. The most secure is to whitelist you email. This way only "allowed" email addresses get through to you. Bit of a pain this way though, as unless you don't use email that much, you would have to put in every address that ever sends you email, including the "noreply" confirmation emails when you buy stuff online.
