Most people when when upgrading a 1930’s house they think changing the boiler and replacing windows will keep them warmer and save costs on heating but that’s really only going to help so far people don’t realise the cold air under their feet and the pipes under their floor are likely not thermally covered. So any saving a new boiler or new windows Technically goes out the window technically as your pipes are working against the elements as most 1930’s houses have suspended floors that are similar if not the same temperature as the outside of your house. So I did the whole entire ground floor of the house to save heating costs as well as lower my carbon footprint and my cold feet now feel warm. Some of the videos I did showing the work.
