Upgrading from Smartcom to Smartcom 4G

Hi all.

Due to Vodafone 3g switch off, I want to upgrade from my existing Smartcom to the 4g version.

Is this a simple plug'n'play switch or will it need further configuration?

Unlike the non 4g version there’s a little more to do but it’s in the manual I believe and you should already have a texecom cloud account plus you will pay your subscription direct to Texecom for the data depending on which option ie dual path is cheaper as it uses Wi-Fi or Ethernet and switches to gprs when not available, single path uses gprs all the time.
