Upvc door not latching when closed

I've fitted a new door recently, that I can't get to latch when pushed shut. It just bounces back open.

I've fitted doors before, without issue. Can't understand what Im doing wrong here. It feels like the spring loaded latch part, just isn't catching the striker / receiver part enough. Like it goes in, and comes straight out.

I've tried adjust the door on the hinges, as tight to the latch side as I can. There is only 1-2mm clearance now, and still no good.

I've tried adjust the little receiver on the frame.

The frame and door are straight and level, the glass is heel toe' d. If I pull up on the handle, even the slightest bit, it stays shut.
It locks and unlocks smoothly.

Ok but its not right out now, have you slide it back in?

Also is the latch lined up with the centre of the latch keep?

Yeah I've been messing with it, so was still loose.

Height wise, yeah, it's lined up. It's like it's too far towards the hinge side, not far enough to the receiver, but I've would the hinges across until there's only 1-2 mm gap now as door closes of it would hit frame. Still doesn't latch.
 
Strangely enough I also had this on a new build with decunuink french doors, checked the receiver height, moved the latch out, moved it in, even pushing on the door with the latch out it still wouldn't click, can't remember how I cure it but it was the least obvious or related adjustment that cured it, think I may have tightened the compression on the cams/shootbolts/hooks
