I have a cheap door (which is in great condition) that I picked up on FB, and it's about 70mm too small for my existing opening.
This is a side garage door and is very very well protected from rain and the roof overhang is pretty large.
I have loads of birch ply hanging around and I am curious to save a bit of cash would it be a workable idea to pad the frame out using plywood rather than buying frame uPVC extenders - and then use PVC trim to tidy it all up?
Curious to hear some thoughts
