Hi folks
Im looking at setting up upvc spraying..
Whats the best paint to use.
And the best equipment.
Any advice would be really appreciated.
Before I take the plunge.
Thanks for taking the time to read my post..
It is a weird industry. The supplier that often features highest up the google rankings rants about others trying to pretend to be them. They don't offer any MSDS literature on their site.
I am a decorator. From time to time I spray MDF with 2K paints using a HVLP turbine. If someone asked me to spray their uPVC windows, I would turn the job down. It is too much like the Wild West.
There are too many fly by night companies that don't care about how long the job will last (thereby driving down the price). Many of the products have a life expectancy of 10 years. After that point it will be cheaper to replace the windows than to prepare them and repaint.
All too often, uPVC windows have silicone where they meet the render/brick work. None of the paints will adhere over time.
If you care about your reputation, I would advise that you steer clear.
