I acquired some front-panel USB outlet and cables from a scrap case. My old PC has USB outlets on the back, and pins for another two on the m/b. looking at the m/b manual, it tells me where the pins are, and their numbers/descriptions. I have

+5V...1...2...+5V
P0- ...3...4... P1-
P0+...5...6... P1+
GND...7...8... GND
Key ...9...10...NC

but the connectors on the cables to my additional USB cables each have: a 3-pin connector with white, green, red, plus a single connector with a black wire.

Does anyone know how I can connect these? Ta.

USB 3 will be pins 1,3,5,7 USB 4 will be pins 2,4,6,8

9 and 10 are for something else.

I would connect the 3 pin connector with the red on 1 for USB3 and 2 for USB4 and the respective blacks on 7 and 8.

Cor, thanks... done that, works Ok with the camera :D :D :D :!:
