Hello,
I have a Valliant ecotec plus bioler that is contsantly running. Not heating, but just you can hear it running. This is a new thing and not quite sure what is wrong with it.
It works fine when heat is called from the thermostat, but then it just runs forever. It's as if it is an overrun or water is running through it. If I switch it off (power) then it stops, but then when I re-apply the mains, it just starts up again and carries on.
There are no errors/codes shown on the display, the only things show are a temperature, the radiator icon flashing and a circle with an up-arrow in it.
Any ideas what may be causing this new behaviour?
Thanks in advance.
Update : I've just discovered the round circle with the up arrow icon is the internal pump. I suspect this is what is running constantly, not sure why though.
