Considering getting an electric Velux window fitted. In the loft. Can it run off the lighting circuit? The fitting instructions ask for 2 x 1.5mm wires, which I think is lighting cable. The circuit at the moment carries all upstairs lights (7 lamps), and bathroom fan.
Also, I've just fitted my new steel bath. I started this project ages ago, so the basin taps, towel rad, shaving light etc are all supplementary bonded. But in the meantime the new regs came in, so I had the consumer unit replaced and rebuilt. Every individual circuit now has an RCBO on it. Hot and cold to the taps are copper (even up to the taps, no flexis!). Most of the house is copper, but mains supply is that blue plastic, and there's some Hep2O going to the boiler.
Do I need to find a way to earth/supp bond the bath/taps/shower?
Many thanks.
