w7 updates?

W7 is offering me two "important" updates:
update for microsoft . NET framework 4 27.7MB
update for microsoft . NET framework 4 37.7 MB

should i accept these updates? should i accept all m/s updates?
Is there a suitable time factor after which i should have all m/s updates reviewed for removing unnecessary or outdated updates, or do i simply leave them alone?

Thank you for your replies. I did download the updates yesterday, but today my screen has shrunk and narrowed. Perhaps it's nothing to do with the downloads as just before it shrunk i had been looking at the "magnification" possibilities, however, i didn't touch any buttons, merely looked.
I've enlarged the text by 150% but it's hardly made a difference. Any further advice would be welcome.
The trouble shooting option looked for difficulties and prescribed returning to the mode previous to yesterday's download. I've done nothing as it now seems a little complicated for me.
