Wales becomes Trumpton

Should have pleaded not guilty and made them prove she was speeding. Type approval is limited to 10% accuracy. Hence a magistrate could have a reasonable doubt she was speeding. Despite their weaknesses magistrates wont be impressed with a 31 in a 30.

Not in Wales - they changed the law.

Apparently enforcement has now started. 10% + 2mph, though currently they are adopting a 10% + 4mph threshold, perhaps to avoid banning and fining half of Wales.

So 3pts and a fine for doing 26mph.
should also get their cars crushed.... and if above 30 they stay in their car.

This doesn't make much sense...
The speed limit is either there for safety or not.

If its safety, allowing a large, heavy vehicle with less ability to brake quickly to be exempt makes no sense.

It would appear that the new limits are causing chaos, for professional drivers who can't risk a fine every day. I noticed in the news a few magistrates had resigned too for stating they were not willing to convict drivers exceeding the new 20 limit by a few mph.

One of the rationales for the 20mph limit was that it would make sod-all difference to travel times anyway.

Which they're now rowing back from.

Which is a polite way of saying "it's made up bowlogs" (y)

You should apply, they like people with no qualifications or experience in post learner driver training. I wonder if they have back filled the magistrates who quit over refusing to issue penalties to those prosecuted.

Most will accept their FPN's. The others that chose to ignore the speed limit will have to wait like everyone else. Post Brexit - Tory Britain for ya.
