Hey Everyone,

I've just replaced my old accenta 6 panel alarm with the a new G4 panel and everything seems to have gone well, keypads working..etc However I just wanted to do a walk test and upon going into the menu, it keeps beeping away and showing all 1's on the display. It doesn't give me a chance to test them as it should show 0 till they are activated.

The keypad tamp's are installed ok, but I've left the SCB , PA, TA(Bellbox) shorted..etc but its still showing "1". I've even removed all the zones and left 1 in but still...

I'm having the same/similar issue that this person had except I've already added zones 1-6 in program 1,2 and 3 and its still showing up as "1" (http://www.diynot.com/diy/threads/accenta-gen4-walk-test-problem.274848/)

What could be wrong? Can anyone shed some light?

Kind Regards,
Jake

Hi there I have the same issue can you tell me how it was resolved thanks

All zones are open circuit. I would first rule out any issues with the panel by fitting wire links across 1 or more zones and trying the walk test, of this is ok u will need to determine your zone wiring is correct and make sure devices have 12volts, check if aux fuse has blown. This wouldnt affect door contacts if there are any in use

Hi, thanks for the reply, the only zones that show 1 on the walk test start up are the door contacts, the PIRs show 0 then 1 on the walk test , all door contacts show continuity and infinity when opened and closed . But show a fault when setting alarm

thanks for your help, no it’s been checked that way and appears fine, then when wired in it happens and it won’t set as comes up fault code front door with intermittent kitchen which is a PIR
