I have a standing desk. It's decent and I like it, but it is not office-quality and so wobbles a bit from side to side when its in standing position. Which makes the monitor wobble about a bit which in turn makes me feel seasick occasionally.

I'd like to wall-mount my monitor so it stays still, but obviously I'd want it to be able to slide up and down so I can use it in sitting or standing position. The monitor takes a 100x100 VESA mount (if that is the right term). I've found this thing, but a) it is a lot more than a simple wall mount and b) costs over £600. I have also found a bar that allows the monitor to slide up and down it but it clips over the edge of an office cubicle rather than being wall mounted.

Am I looking for something that doesn't exist and is there a more suitable type of bracket that I am overlooking? Thanks!

Cheaper here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/StarTech-c...l+mounted+monitor+riser&qid=1620727149&sr=8-4
I preseume high price is becuase it also carries teh kepboard.

Sorry to say that I have been unable to find a monitor stand that has enough vertcial travel for when I move from sitting to standing up.
I like and use the Invsion desk mounted stands, but not sure that will work for you.

Using this as an example the vertcial travel is only 15cm:

This (not used by me) has 20cm of travel:

Sorry not more help.

Thanks all! That last one is the sort of thing I had in mind- I've got a 28 inch monitor though not a massive telly, so not sure it would fit - but 800mm of travel is about what I'll need. I'll keep looking. The other thing I could do of course is brace the desk so it doesn't wobble so much.
