The other 2 wall receptacles work perfectly whether the light is on or off. Help!

R RedHerring2 23 Jan 2012 #2 I'm not sure of your use of the word "receptacle" Where we come from a "receptacle" is something which receives something else. But that is by the by. It sounds like two of your wall lights are completely independent of the wall switch. I assume they have their own switch attached to the wall light. The one causing problems may be on a two-way switch, meaning it can be turned on or off from either switch. Try it.
