Washine machine drum case sealing.

I have to split the drum's casing in half to install a new bearing set.

Videos on YT advise a bead of silicon on top of the new seal ring.
I presume it needs to be waterproof grade rather than water-resistant silicon?

Its a Bosch Classixx 1400 washer by the way.
