Watching a topic without e-mail

Is it possible to put a topic on the watched list but not get e-mail notification. I normally log onto the site and select watched topics. The e-mail notifications just fill up my in-box.

You could bookmark a topic instead (see here), that may be of use to you.

I'll look into the setup and see how feasible it is to add a per-user option to turn email notification off for Watched Topics.

Is this something that anyone else would be interested in?

I've just tried the Bookmark feature but it gives less information than Watched Topics. In particular, the Latest Post column is not there. On balance I'll be better off using Watched Topics and deleting the e-mails. (I've thought of using an e-mail rule to discard them but that might raise other problems.)
