Thinking of putting a water feature in the gap between brick piers in our garden wall.

Gap is 6ft x 6ft x 1ft.

Looking to put resilient, nil maintenance panel at rear of gap and decorative panel/face to front where water feature will be.

Fairly competent DIYer, so happy to lay bricks if necessary.

Electrics easily available for pump and lights. No running water.

Looking for ideas.

How about a channel running along the top of the bricks that allows water pumped along it to cascade over the entire width like a waterfall.
Have a collection channel at the bottom to be able to pump it all back up again (via filters etc.)

If people could give examples and idea on materials, it would be appreciated. Looking for solutions for rear and front wall.

Fitting between piers and below pier caps.

Here's a pic of how it is now. Fencing will obviously come out, but access to rear fence has to be from my side.

Can dig as deep as I like to front of foundation wall.

What type of thing do you want? You might be able to find a large sheet of stainless, or an outdoor mirror. Some are plastic (I think)
Then a trough at the bottom, sitting on the wall, filled with large round stones.
Pump the water so it trickles down the mirrored surface and over the cobbles/slate?

Or use reclaimed slate to replace the mirror? A big chunk would be expensive and heavy but maybe find a slate pool table/ old roof tiles?
