Hello and thank you for reading this message.

Our hot water cylinder has no manufacturer name on it so I cannot find a manual. The system is fed directly from the mains with new gas condenser boiler, cylinder, and container above the cylinder looking like a pressure cylinder. The system feeds 2 first floor showers, a first floor bath, and a second floor shower, and ground kitchen. The hot water pressure is ok but how can the pressure be increased please?

Thank you.

The hot water pressure will be the lower of the mains water pressure and (about) 3 bar, the latter figure depending on the setting of the combination valve. Measure the mains water pressure as static (pressure gauge on the kitchen or an outside tap, no taps running), and dynamic (gauge attached as before and with another cold mains tap running). You cannot get more than the mains pressure without a substantial amount of work and expense (new main, accumulator).

Are you sure you mean pressure and not flow rate?

OB, thank you for your reply.
Yes, flow rate as in the water coming out of the showers. Was hoping pressure and flow rate were related.
When the bath is running, the shower on the floor above has no flow.

Pressure is the force that the water exits the outlet at and is key when designing the system, flow is the amount of water that the system can deliver and is just as important when designing. You can only get out what you can put in. Pressure is important when supplying more than one outlet at a time as the available pressure in the system drops in proportion to the number of outlets that are open, it is also important to know if the system pressure can be maintained by the mains.

As @oldbuffer mentions, you need to know the dynamic pressure and flow available to the hot water cylinder when running multiple outlets, this will determine what the system is capable of delivering before looking into what can be done about it.
