Hi,
I have an extension being built. Originally, DPM was put down, then 150mm Jablite EPS insulation and then steel mesh on top.
The inspector said that a vapour barrier also needed to be installed ontop of the Insulation, between the steel mesh. This was put in on Monday
However, in the mean time it rained over the weekend so there are puddles under the insulation. Is this water now trapped after the concrete gets poured? My builder said the weight of the conccrete will push out any water through the sides but I just have a bad feeling that its stuck and may cause damp in the future. Could someone just clarify my doubts.
Thanks
