Could this be normal condensation ? Has happened before over winter and dried up ... Just seems quite a bit.

Look like the cylinder leaking by the look of cylinder feet.

Can you check the base of cylinder to see if it is wet.

Also check the discharge pipe tundish isn't leaking or running.

Daniel.

Looks like the cylinder leaking to me. Also looks like it hasn't been installed correctly. Technically has a 25-year warranty but between not being installed correctly and almost certainly not having been serviced annually I should think your warranty is now invalid

Just ran my hand under the cylinder base where I can slip my hand, and just dry plastic base. Checked all copper pipes and all feel dry, some warm some hot. Be gutting of down to incorrect install and out of warranty.

Assuming you've had it serviced, you could always have the installation brought up to scratch to sort the warranty issue. If you haven't had it serviced, more fool you

Just a thought...I wonder whether there are any pipes under the studwork. Could be that one of those screws has been driven into a pipe. What's the other side of the wall?

Pic from this morning. Water from under cylinder seems to have dried but remained around the wood on the floor. Also seems to be in line to and underneath the pipe that goes into the back external wall, is this the discharge pipe ? When I feel it though it just feels cold and dry. So does this go with your thoughts that there may be a pipe under or behind that may have leaked ?

ok thanks, will try and find a reputable plumber. Original guy is not responding. Any idea what sort of cost I will be looking at ?

Do you still see a problem with the installation as well ? should i look to get it corrected ? any ideas what needs to be looked at ? Many Thanks

It may have leaked from a tun dish.

Better to see full photo of cylinder before you start making holes in wall.

Tony

more pics added, water seems to have dried up almost completely. Is this possible, if it is a leak it should continue right ? tun dish is at the front. Pipe above the leak area just seems to exit external wall. What do you think of install and what could be the issue ?
