Cleaned the car out today at the local recycling centre and seemingly managed to chuck the keys to the car away... I need a break!! (or my head seeing to)

I got a second-hand car from a dealership and, during a thorough vacuuming, I found a purpleback in a cranny (y)

I was chuffed that my cleaning was more diligent than theirs :)

A score.
£20

Doh!

For a moment I though it was a euphemism for something like a condom and that £20 might have been the amount paid to a woman of dubious virtue for services rendered.

I need to get out more, or stay in more...

I saw a guy do this last year... brand new BMW! They shut off the section and went looking, don't know how long it took to find them!

Madness innit! If someone else had done I'd call them a complete d**kh**d, still I guess I have to apply the same standards to myself, so I can only say... I am a complete d**kh**d!

I did similar with a S4 phone.
I was rather annoyed at that as I liked it.
The boss was peed off too as it was a company phone.

Waiting for SWMBO at Tesco, I was standing outside my car in the sunshine.
I put my Nokia 5.1 on the roof of the car.
She finished the shopping, and we got in the car and drove off.

After about 3/4 mile of weird clonking noises from the car, i pulled up at a roundabout, heard a "thudding" across the roof, then saw said 'phone fly over the bonnet, and disintegrate on the roundabout before me:mrgreen:

Company 'phone as well:ROFLMAO:

Did similar, but didn't see the phone come off the roof. Found the 'phone 2 hours later in the middle of the road, soft case and battery off ('phone being a Nok6110), a crack in the hard case. Picked it all up, put it together and it's still working 6 years later...

I have a feeling this is not my week. Went to the supermarket, took my own bag, took it out of my pockets, shook it to open it out and the self service checkout scanned it... ok it's 5p.. but really! I think I might need supervising when I go out :(

I did similar at Christmas.
I paid for an extra session on the astro turf but, because it is booked in slots, they had to take the extra payment in one of the pre-booked slots.
When we went back for the session (who's slot I'd already paid for), the cashier said it had already been paid.
Instead of keeping schtum, I "helpfully" remembered what had gone on, and ending up shelling out another thirty quid

I filled my missus diesel car with petrol on the way to a funeral, broke down got recovered.

Then put diesel in my petrol car the day after!!!!!

Used to have those keys rings which you could whistle at and would beep in response to help you find keys .
Broke down on busy A1 , 10pm in the dark, pulled into lay-by while we waited for help and managed to loose the keys . No torch but my youngest had a luminous glow worm toy with her .
Must have looked crackers wandering up and down the A1 in the dark whistling and waving a glow worm in the air .
