Wet around wall next to window

Hi

Does anyone know the reason the paint has damp patches on?

The window is probably 15 years old and has slightly blown on one side, it has been fine up until this winter?

could be various reasons

one obvious one is lack of or poorly positioned vertical dpc

the problem happens when plaster touches external masonry or water is able to track across to reach plaster


what is the wall construction: cavity or solid

how far back are the windows positioned from outside face
