What are you drinking tonight?

Mrs Mottie ordered online from Tesco this week. She just goes on strength - the weaker the better for her. This one was just 12% :( and she paid...£7! Completely blown the budget. Was alright though - went well with my Lamb shanks with root vegetables and red wine gravy, dauphinois potatoes and creamed cabbage.

As part of a busy day, I ended up in the 'Spoons with first - born .
Had a panini and a pint.
No Shipyard () so just went with another pale ale.
Ruddles Best. Drinkable.
Ridiculously though, checking on the app later, it was only £1.29 a pint
Or, as first - born pointed out, you could get a half for just 65p:eek:

With my fish and chips at Mersea yesterday, I had a pint of 'Yo Boy' local bitter. Really, really smooth. If I weren’t driving, I’d have easily had a fair few more. :)

I’m on it early this week! I had to go out to forage for tonight’s tea at Sainsbury’s as our weekly shop from Tesco wasn’t being delivered until 7.00 onwards. I hunted down a beef bourguignon ready meal with a bottle of house Shiraz at £4.50. Not one of my favourites but I just fancied a change. Mind you, Mrs Mottie played a blinder this week - she ordered 6 bottles from Tesco as it was 25% off 6 bottles or more. Happy days.

Watched Harry Potter with my son, now listening to Ac/Dc records (Powerage) with him.

Vouvray from Tesco. Went nice with my prawn pasta. Normally £7 but but Mrs Mottie bought 6 mixed bottles this week and got 25% off so it was only £5.25. :D
