What are you drinking tonight?

Have been in one Asda and three Tesco stores and 2 JS stores that did not have it.
 
I'm sure Morrison's has it; they have large AF sections in their stores.
 
For any wine drinkers (no names mentioned, I got into trouble last time!), Asda have a wine promo.

Unusually for me, I've got on it early this week but only because we are up London for the Easter weekend. Miss Mottie is getting married up there so we're staying there from tomorrow until Sunday.

Île-De-Beauté. A French Rosé with our Black Truffle and Grana Padano Tortelloni meal tonight. £8.50 from Sainsburys (less a 25% discount so just £6.37). Not bad. Not bad at all. I would give this an 8/10 and at 12% ABV I would describe it as 'glugable'. ;) Mrs Mottie not too keen on it and says I'm glugging it like lemonade but pah, what does she know? :rolleyes:

At last! Got the last 4 pack of Guinness 0% from Booths supermarket in Garstang.

It's not bad!
 
'Whispering Angel' rosé today with our Fruits de Mer platter from Marks's. A mate of Mrs Mottie raves about it so I thought I'd give it a try while I was buying my 25% off haul the other week. Nothing special at all - I like some of the Californian rosé's myself. A lowly 5/10 from me. The price? £19. Yes, nineteen quid a bottle! Save your money.

Went to a funeral today. One of those new age affairs where they put you in a field and plant a tree over you. A first for me. Great quality buffet at the wake, helped by copious amounts of St Austell Tribute. He had a good send off. :confused:
 
Listened to the podcast about alcohol. It shrinks brains apparently and the researcher is now drinking way less although not stopped. Guess you need to live a little.
They don't know if drinking all in one hit at weekend is better than a couple every night which they know causes terrible damage. Had a can of cider last night myself. I like Guinness and on the look out for the new Guinness Nitro Cold Brew Coffee. Came out at weekend
