What are you having for breakfast?

Back on topic. After our faux Christmas dinner yesterday with the frozen reserve turkey, pigs in blankets and the chestnut and cranberry stuffing, it had to be a faux Boxing Day breakfast today. Faux in the sense there wasn't any sausages, bubble or black pudding. :( Still, it filled a hole. (y)

I'd have given those mushrooms another couple of minutes . . . . One of the few foods that benefit from having the living daylights cooked out of 'em.

They, along with the bacon and tomato were grilled. Only so far you can go with grilling something.
 
Lightly toasted seeded bloomer topped with avocado and poached egg. Very tasty and surprisingly filling. It may become one of my staple weekend breakfasts. :)
