What do you call a threaded timber connector?

It's like a timber connector but with teeth only on one side, and the centre is threaded for accepting a bolt. You tighten the bolt and the teeth bite in to the timber.
I cannot for the life of me come up with some search terms that match the name of what I'm talking about.
Just to be clear, it's not some theoretical thing, I've seen them in furniture, etc.
