never ever except anything as being British made without doing your homework it can be as little as perhaps 12% British input and be called British made the same ford vehicle with world input can be called Portuguese/spanish/british /german /american as the final assembly is in that country as "materials" seem to be excluded you need a fairly minute design and assembly content [perhaps12%]to be called Portuguese/spanish/british /german /america within your country so infact the same car or product can be patriotically declared as from any country you like as long as the around 12% input is met the same with any product
your beef can be born bred and raised in Argentina shipped frozen to uk but providing the minimum "conversion " required takes place in the uk its brittish

So, they weren't rotting in the fields then? They managed to pick 'em with no cheap foreign labour? Amazeballs!

I'm mad. But only on occasions. I take tap water in a bottle to work with me but have Bottled water in the van and car as back up or emergencies. It doesn't sit ✅️ right with me regarding the plastic but my health is more important.
You can buy water in glass bottles.

Every time I looked up something british made I thought how much!

Thanks, like to do my bit!

Anybody who buys bottled water in the UK is, IMO, mad.
Waste of money, and creates more plastic waste. Plus, it all just comes out of a tap anyway - there isn't some bloke in France with a bucket down a well filling the bottles!

You see I disagree on many fronts apart from.the plastic statement.
