I had a Brantia internal washing line for maybe ten years until one day it came crashing down due to the weight demands put on it and it pulled the plug on one side out of the wall with a bit of the wall as well. The hooks on the other side were just fine, but on the other side there is a metal plate where you clip one end while the other is held in place by a screw. I filled it with polyfilla but came down after just a week as the screws / plugs supplied are small and generic and I polyfillla is less strong that brick. I was thining if I used some kind of anchor plug - with a base the can spread wider, that might do the trick. Like I say the previous one lasted 10 years. Any tips for a newbie like me would be much appreciated. Thanks
