What to do

Hi all,

I can see daylight through my lath and plaster. Going to plasterboard over the lath. Is it worth putting a breathable membrane down or DPM before doing this?
It’s roof tiles on the side of the wall outside.

Why the light being seen?
Remove laths.
Sheet insulation. Thin polystyrene from DIY. Wickes sell.
Plasterboard over.

Why not post a pic showing the outside tile hanging?
Why did you remove the plaster from the laths?
