After having some work done in the bathroom and toilet (windows taken out and moved) I now need some tiles to match the existing. Does anyone know of any that look like those in the pictures, or is there any places which specialise in matching tiles or making tiles to order which match perhaps? Thanks.

They are horrible why would you want to stck 70,s style tiles in yea bathroom. lovely nicotine colour.

It's because we need some after having some work done in the bathroom and toilet. It's too expensive for us at the moment to re-do all of it.

Could everyone stop slagging off my tiles!
I've had a window bricked/plastered up, so need something similar to tile over it. The only other option I guess would be to use a different tile and paint the whole lot.

no dont paint them

thats the problem with tiles, you should always buy more than you need and keep them, not that thats much use now.

so how much do you think custom made tiles will cost?

If you can afford new windows you can afford a few new tiles. They are hideous.

Well said.

How do I know, never bought any.
Have you?
FYI I've found somewhere on the net that hand paints them, not very expensive, so there. However, they can't match them close enough, but somewhere must give it a go.

Hmnn....strange comment. Surely the opposite is true, once you've bought something you don't have the money then, one has to save all over again.
By your thinking, as soon as you've bought something you must have more money left for something else. Strange.

Do you not think that stripping all tiles from a bathroom and toilet, then having it re-plastered, then buying countless dozens of tiles and materials then paying for someone to fit them will be more than new windows anyway, or close to it.
Surely better to re-fit 20 or 30 new tiles.

The reason I haven't bought extra, is because I didn't buy any, they were already fitted in the house, of course I would buy extra if it was down to me.

Why not paint them? Everyone I know that has done so has had amazing results, using proper tile primer and tile paint.

Yes, that's just what I want, a few new tiles, instead of having to re-do the whole lot.

painting tiles is never a good option, no matter how its done.

(it actualy creates more work in the long run, and costs more £)

as you yourself said the hand painted ones can not match the ones you have, to have them custom made exactly like the ones you have will be extortionate (trust me)

plese don't get the A**e with me about the fact you should buy more tiles when doing a tiling job, i dont have a crystal ball and you neglected to mention in your first post the previous owners had put the tiles up.

and yes they are hideous
