Hi all,
Two questions...
I have an open plan lounge dining area of 60m2 with a terribly uneven floor. It’s generally level but has dips, holes and ramps all over the place with low points of maximum 20mm. It’s a mixture of tile, vinyl and concrete.
The finished floor will be floated engineered wood, possibly over the top of a chipboard or plywood base.
What self levelling should I be looking at? Should I attempt to cover the entire floor or just the dips bearing in mind that I have the option of a chipboard floor under engineered wood planks which might cover any slight bumps where the dips have been levelled?
Is a 60m2 room needing perhaps an average of 8mm covering a DIY job do you think?
Thanks all!
