Which plasticiser to get for pointing patio?

I used some of the £4.29 one in the mix to lay my slabs.

I’m using Blue Circle Mastercrete and I checked today and their website says it does not need plasticiser so might risk it

I’ve use the Hanson stuff and that claims extra workability on the bag. I still put some on to help me with the 3x2’s

No, I filled a bucket with water then poured a good 100ml in.
