Widespread rioting

They don't know. Three events in quick succession, the stabbing in Kent, the fight at Manchester airport and the killings of the little girls in Southport have combined to give some on the far right the excuse they were waiting for to kick off against dark skinned people in general.

Go girl!
From the Guardian link.

Has any of this got anything to do with Tommy Robinsons current legal issues?

Most of them have been about Southport -actually I think all over the past week,

It's no fun unless some far right apologists also join in, by posting that these rioters are just normal, salt of the earth working class folk, who are fed up with government policy and have come together to chant nazi slogans and attack mosques.

Maybe it becomes a badge of honour, something to boast about in Weatherspoons drinking the cheap beer, like being caught smoking behind the bike shed, or going to the Monaco F1, or the Indy 500, or chopping down trees.
"i wuz their bashin the fuz in southpaw. I chuked a bottel at 'em".

It is obviously a nationwide riot against Shoezone, for their repeated crimes against fashion.

Or maybe it's just because the far right thickos were too drunk to remember what Tommy Robinson told them to do next.

Maybe Tommy Robinson mentioned something about no-go zones. And they couldn't find any of those, so they went for the next best thing. ;)

What are they rioting about?
Racial aspects. AlJ threw up map of all associated with Southport, 8 and more expected. Maybe 9 due to N Ireland. One counter demo so far and police keeping them apart. Looked ok but think I have since heard mention of police being hurt. I did see the 1st smoke bomb throw when things were quiet.

Locals have noticed people from out of their area are involved. In one case police shut of train services maybe to try and keep them there. Some have started wearing masks to get around facial recognition. Might be a good idea to make that a reason for an arrest. LOL I prefer the Taliban method concerning opium - dye them green.

Farage makes a point that is probably valid - after a fashion. Don't blame the far right. It's 10's of millions of frightened and worried citizens who riot. However we all know who stokes it and while a party may be banned the members are still around and it even had it's own factions. Also our major politicians. Immigration has figures for a long time. Throw in people who add some distortions and consider the effect of that. Really distortions aren't needed. Some will still formulate opinions.

10's of millions - I don't think so or anything remotely like it.

The real question concerning the rioters and even demo's in this are is what do they hope to achieve and how. I'm reminded of an interview of a French lady who voted right+. The only way she could be satisfied is to throw all none natural French out. Not that the party she voted for would actually do that. The right+ are always short on solutions. it's just a method of bending peoples opinions and getting elected.
