Replacing handles and lock on a composite door. It has a mortice sashlock and lever on backplate handles that I am replacing with a euro profile sashlock and UPVC handles. I've located a euro sashlock of identical dimensions to the existing lock, and it has 47mm PZ (some claim 47.5mm). I've noticed the nearest matching UPVC handles are nearly all 48mm PZ. Question is, will they play nicely together or is the slight difference enough to knacker things up? I've noticed a seller on Ebay selling UPVC handles with 47.5mm PZ, but nearly £15 a set dearer than I can get 48mm variants for. Am I overthinking this or right to query it?
Will 48mm PZ UPVC door handles work with a 47mm sashlock?
