Spring Creators update . Win10 Pro Version 1803 Build 17134.1

Up and running this am.
Whoa ! No 'Homegroup' function.

Keep up ... Or become lost.
That is how it has been with MS since Windows began to litter our desktops, it ain't all bad tho'.

Well, nine days since the Spring update - Version 1803 Build 17134.1 - Now Build 1734.48
All seems ok, apart from same old Nvidia graphic driver and Dell U2711 monitor driver not playing well as updated by MS on 1803 update.
So, into 'Safe Mode' use Display Driver Uninstaller to completely remove Nvidia drivers, back to Win10 Pro reinstall known good Nvidia driver - graphics only, reinstall dell driver (from Dell website) - Good, now 'Sleep' function works properly.
Hopefully prevent driver updates being thrust upon me by MS, through use of 'Group Policy editor' See How to Stop Windows 10 From Automatically Updating Hardware Drivers... o_O

All things change ! 'Classic Shell' That useful freeby which can lend a neat Win7 type start menu whilst retaining standard Win10 offering, is no longer being actively developed beyond V.4.3.1 - the latest.
This working fine, to the depth which I use it, in my latest Win10 Pro OS.

I set up my PC to stop automatic updates, by setting internet connection to metered....
I come back from a loo break today to find it updating without me having done anything.....

WHY?????
 
Maybe look in 'Settings' : 'Update and Security' : 'Advanced Options' : See switch for 'Automatically download updates, even over metered data connections.'
Maybe this setting cancels out the 'Do not use metered connection' option set elsewhere ???

Check out differences between 'Feature' and 'Quality Updates' - I take both, but the quality offering has posed least problems (of very few) - In my DIY Desktop !!

See 'View Reliability History' - just start typing the words into Cortana search box.
This is very useful, see errors and what has been installed ...

Also to be found via : 'Control panel' : 'Security and Maintenance' : 'Maintenance' : 'View Reliability History.'

Edit. I did spot this in Windows 10 Forum, with the option to 'not download' etc :-
'Windows will automatically download and install updates, except on metered connections. In that case, Windows will automatically download only those updates required to keep Windows running smoothly.
Is this currently true ?? FIIK !

When I updated to 1803, exactly the same thing happened, although in my case it was a set of Windows 7 Games for Windows 10 that was removed. I can only assume that Microsoft didn't like the fact that I had downloaded an old version of their games. I don't care what they might think, though. As far as I'm concerned, the Windows 7 versions are far better than the Windows 10 rubbish.

Anyway, if yours were the same as mine, I downloaded the W7 games again from this site (free, of course!):

I discovered yesterday that a recent update had changed my Privacy settings (I reject all 3rd party cookies, prompt for 1st Party, but allow Session) to "accept all"

I've changed them back now. I don't know what other changes it might have made without my knowledge or consent.
