Hi,

After cleaning the inside of the windows, I have noticed lots of fine scratches all over the window directly where the sun hits.

I used a soft cloth and glass cleaner. What may have caused this? And is there any way to remove the light scratches?

Many thanks

Finer glass scratches are commonly caused by dragging or wiping particles across the surface.

Even with a clean, soft cloth and glass cleaning product, some of the dirt or dust particles on the glass will be dragged across the surface, scratching it.

To prevent this happening, you need to remove the particles without wiping them across the glass.

Gentle cleaning with soapy water, to remove the bulk of the dirt; this is likely to be messy and impractical at best.

As for removing them, "polishing" is the way, as far as I know.

Is there a film ( anti glare or solar ) applied to the glass ? They are invisible until scratched or "bubbled" by heat or use of the wrong cleanig fluid
