Sent question to PC World re Windows 10 release date, see reply.
Must say I will be interested when its in the shops.

I can confirm that currently we do not have a confirmed date of when the products will be released to us with Windows 10. After researching the query, it is estimated that Windows 10 will be released within April 2015. Once this is released, our website will display the new products.

That's not right - Microsoft are likely to announce the release date in April 2015 at the Build Conference 2015. Most bets are on Autumn 2015 for the actual release.
 
Have been running the prelease stuff in VmWare player virtual machine, not too dis similar from 8.1 pro. I bought Win 8.0 <£25 have DVDs 32 & 64 bit.
Guess I will get a freeby to Win 10 ?
Just like any other change - either run away or get stuck in !! Buy in today, out of date tomorrow, grab any offers when they occur !!

Worth a full read, if thinking Win 10...

PS. You think I enjoy all this update / update / change ? No, I do not, but I have no real control so need to go somewhat with the flow.
Getting left behind is not an option, is it ??
