Winter protection of sun bed kept outside

Thanks to help from you good people, my sun lounger is done. What concerns me as winter storage will be outside, no garage, is that if I put a large sheet of
polypropelene, or similar stuff over it, moisture will become trapped between that and the timber of the bed.

What can I do please to raise this an inch or two above the bed, letting air go through without making a great frame all round?

Make a cover the right shape to sit over the structure, leave it a bit short to allow air circulation.
