Hi, this is my very first post and i am looking for advice on how to wire a 2pin euro plug. I have just bought some wirable 2 pin europlugs which i need to connect to a pump which only has 2 wires. I know the 2 wires can go either side but i have no instructions with these wirable euro plugs. It comes in 2 parts , one that seems to crimp the cable and includes the 2 pins and the other part which is the sleeve which the crimped cable part goes into and locks. It looks like the insulated part of the cable can be crimped into position but the exposed part of the wire is lose and simply dropped into the pin without any secure fixing. . I know that the insulated cable is crimped into position but the live wires are not. Am i missing a trick here. Does anyone know. (by the way i cannot use any kind of adapter with this - i have to use a 2-way europlug). Thanks in advance for any advice.

Can you provide a picture of this plug? I suspect you are supposed to crimp or solder the wires in place.
