Wiring a ceramic cooktop and underneath convection oven

I am converting from a single stove unit (Ceramic cooktop and oven combination) to a seperate cooktop (40 amps) and seperate convection oven (20 amps). Existing 220V line is rated at 40 amps. Do I need a seperate line to power each unit or can I tap into the existing 220 line for both?
