It's not ,reasoning behind the question can it be done? They work from the programmer to the cylinder thermostat and then to the zone valve. How is it wired currently?
What is the problem with that? Lots of things have P\lI guess it could work, but not good practice, and you’ll so have a permanent live at the cylinder thermostat.
No problem, just highlighting it. I’m not as experienced as some in wiring departmentWhat is the problem with that? Lots of things have P\l
How do you control the boiler if there is no connection to it ?
I guess it could work, but not good practice, and you’ll so have a permanent live at the cylinder thermostat.
Fairly sure you cant connect an unvented cylinder directly to a solid fuel boiler but stand to be corrected.
No I can’t, so I guess it’s ok practice, as I said in my reply to Terry, I’m not as good at wiring as others, and Terry also said it was ok.Can you explain why it's not good practice and I can't see why a permanent live should be a problem.
