Hello everyone. Sorry to bother you all with a question, but I’ve been thinking of wiring up a timeshare I’m in to get a home theater-type setup in there. I was wondering if you guys had a good solution for speakers and the like.

Hi august, what state're you from?

If you’ve the scratch, there’s a great bose thing I like. That one thing that uses 2 speakers to mimic a 4.1 setup? It’ll be easy to put up. On a related not, why are you doing your timeshare instead of, say, your house? Are you even allowed to renovate a timeshare house on that scale.

I’m just curious because my sister had a timeshare and she wasn’t even allowed to rearrange the furniture. And when the market hit the pooper she had to hire some title transfer agency called timeshare relief (can you believe it? A whole industry to save you from these things!) to help out. Anyway, if you are allowed, the bose solution should work fine. Bose is also good if you want a traditional 4.1 solution, but it’s pretty expensive.
