Wood fibre boards join with floor

We have had joists replace and rockwool insulation inserted and tomorrow will be putting floor covering on (22mm caper board). Some walls will have wood fibre IWI. How much of a compromise is it to sit these on the chipboard and build up wall ? I know technically you are meant to cut it back but we don’t yet have the wood fibre.

Suspended timber floor with 22mm caper board on top and brick wall that will have a lime levelling coat , having IWI on external wall and one party wall if this is what you mean
