Wood posts into stone wall

A stone wall? What does that entail? Got a photo?
how big is the gate going to be
the 4ft boundary wall - is that a single wall or ????
Will it be hinged from the cottage wall
I have used an chemical anchor fixing and studs on 2 gates so far ,
the first side gate i put up - 6' tall - I tried a lot of different fixings - none lasted
then i used the anchor chemical fixing
so a stud these

I then using a fostner bit countersunk so the nut was below the post - Cut the stud
then hinged the gate
I used 3 bolts both times
But pictures of what you have would be good
