wooden floor restoration

can anyone help- i have a wooden jarrah floor that i am trying to restore. once the lino was taken up we are left with glue that we can not get off.the sand paper keeps getting clogged up with the glue

We too have just pulled up a vinyl floor in the bathroom and have glue on the boards that we want to restore - we are facing the same problem.The only thing that we can think of is to scrape it off and then sand - have you had any luck???

Still trying. Found a product called glue rid brand name Diggers. It has helped a bit. I then used steel wool and turps and managed to get some more off. Now I'm just going to try the sanding.
